Reliability Your computer network must be fast, stable, secure, documented, fault tolerant, backed up and virus free. These are not options; these are the minimum requirements for a sound network. MTI can provide all this and more so that you and your employees are efficient and can focus on your business. You may also be able to benefit from remote access, remote administration, or any number of other computer services we offer in our service area. We specialize in supporting Northern Minnesota and North Eastern North Dakota businesses with computer networks of up to 500 computers and offer a wide variety of solutions that include custom servers and workstations, scheduled maintenance, data cable installations and PC repair. Firewall, LAN, Ping, DSL, VPN, TCP/IP, RDP, every industry has its terminology and acronyms; these are a few of ours. If you don’t know what they mean, don’t worry we do. IT is what we do to help you focus on what you do. It is pretty likely that your business is increasingly dependent on its computers and therefore increasingly dependent on those systems to be dependable to you. Can you afford to lose your client database or your accounting data to a hard drive crash, a nasty virus, or a hacker? Don’t be a victim of “It’ll never happen to me!” When the Blaster worm hit computers in September 2003, many local computer networks were crippled, but not a single one of our network maintenance customers was affected. Was it luck? Or were they prepared? Downtime is costly and frustrating. Through actively insuring that critical processes are operating properly we proactively focus on maximizing uptime. Documenting your Computer Network Once we have established a baseline for your computer network; documentation will be done so that problem solving will be more efficient. If your regular support engineer at MTI is unavailable, another MTI engineer will be able to step in, and in a minimal amount of time be familiar enough with your computer network to support you in a crisis. This documentation includes a logical design of your computer network, important tech support numbers, and specific information on everything attached to the network to include computers, servers, firewall, switches and network printers. Responsiveness While our solution will provide for a proactive approach to supporting your computer network, crises are bound to arise. If you are having a crisis level problem either your designated engineer or another available MTI engineer will be onsite quickly, usually within two hours. Non-crisis situations will also be handled in a timely manner usually within one business day if requested. Mild inconveniences will be handled in a efficient manner. You should always be able to reach an MTI technician through our phone system, we are on call for computer network crises 24/7. |
